How to Double Space in Microsoft Word

To double space text in Microsoft Word, follow these instructions (the steps might vary slightly depending on the version of the software):1. Press Control + a to select all (or Command + a on a Mac), or go to Edit and Select All to highlight all of the text on the screen.
2. Click on the “Format” menu.
3. Click “Paragraph.”4. Click the “Line Spacing” drop-down and select “Double.”
5. Click “Ok.”
An even faster way to double space…
1. Press Control + a (or Command + a on a Mac) to select all of the text.
2. Press Control + 2 (or Command + 2 on a Mac).
To double space in other programs, go to the help option and type in “double space” for instructions.
